Who are the HSG Board Candidates? Find out here!
HSG is pleased to announce the names of 22 candidates who are standing for 2016 Board elections. Nominated individuals represent all WHO regions except WPRO. Throughout the month of July, candidates will be campaigning (i.e. writing blog posts which will appear on their candidate profile page) and we encourage you to familiarize yourself with the candidates, their statements and blogs. You can follow this information on the Board Election Candidates page.
Voting will open to HSG members on August 1st. If you would like to be able to vote in this election, you must become an HSG member, if you are not already.
While, it is unfortunate that we are lacking nominated candidates from Western Pacific region to replace outgoing HSG Board member in November 2016 we are planning to run a by-election specifically for WPRO early next year and elect a member from this region. If you live in this region, please stay tuned to our announcement, which will be posted on the HSG website early 2017.
Finally, in addition to electing eight new board members, HSG members when casting their vote will also be asked to formalize and legalize the Board decision taken in November to revoke HSG incorporation in Copenhagen, Denmark.
