Nominations open for the HSG-Alliance Societal Awards 2026

Health Systems Global (HSG), in close collaboration with the Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research, is pleased to launch the next round of the HSG-Alliance Societal Awards. These prestigious awards recognize outstanding contributions to the field of Health Policy and Systems Research (HPSR) and health systems strengthening.

Nominations are invited across three award categories:

• The HPSR Lifetime Service Award
• The Sam Adjei Distinguished Public Service Award
• The Young Professional Award

The awards celebrate individuals and organisations whose leadership, research, advocacy, and service have advanced health systems and strengthened the use of evidence in policy and practice. Winners will be recognised during the upcoming HSR Symposium in Cairo (7 – 9 December 2026) and will receive a commemorative plaque and HSG membership.

We encourage members of the HPSR community to nominate deserving colleagues and leaders whose work has made a meaningful impact on health systems locally, nationally, or globally.
