Nominate candidates to represent the South-East Asia region on the Health Systems Global Board!
HSG is seeking the election of a Regional Board Representative from South-East Asia (as defined by the WHO) to serve on the Board.
Nominations must be proposed by HSG members, preferably by members based in the same region, and nominees must be HSG members legally residing in South-East Asia.
The timeline for nominations and the submission of eligibility information by nominees is the period between May 12 – June 10, 2021.
Information about eligible candidates will be posted on the HSG website by mid-June 2021 and HSG members only from the South-East Asian region will be invited to vote online for their preferred candidate between June 18-28, 2021.
The service term for the newly elected Regional Board Representative will begin in July 2021 and conclude at the end of 2022; s/he will be eligible to participate in the 2022 HSG Board elections.
Further details on deadlines, additional submission instructions, information detailing Board Member and Regional Representative roles and responsibilities, and the election process can be found on the Board Election page.
Commendable approach to give representation to South-East Asia in the HSG Board. There are many in this region doing good work in strengthening Health System in this region. It would be a good opportunity for them to the HSG.
Thanking you and all the best,
