New Health Systems Global Board Officers announcement
Following a vote by the Health Systems Global (HSG) Board at its meeting on Monday 8th October in Liverpool, UK, we are delighted to confirm the names of HSG’s new Board Officers.
Asha George is named as the new Chair of HSG. Asha previously served as Vice Chair and will bring significant experience and commitment to the role of HSG Chair, with a strong vision for the organisation’s future.
Barbara McPake will be the new Vice Chair of HSG, and Daniel Maceira will continue in his role in the HSG Board Officer team asTreasurer.
HSG Board members and the HSG secretariat would like to express their thanks and appreciation to Kabir Sheikh for his exemplary leadership and huge dedication and energy as HSG Chair, and we wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours.
The new HSG Board Officers and Board members were introduced at the HSG Annual General Meeting, which took place from 12:30 to13:30 on Thursday 11th October during the Fifth Global Symposium on Health Systems Research in Liverpool.
