HSG Board Election 2018 results
Health Systems Global is pleased to announce the outcome of its 2018 Board Election. But before we announce the successful candidates, we would like to extend our gratitude to the HSG Board Members for their service, especially to those who will be stepping down in October 2018. This includes HSG’s current Board Chair Kabir Sheikh, Benjamin Uzochukwu, Dina Balabanova and Kopano Mabaso.
Successful candidates
We are happy to announce that Lucy Gilson has been re-elected to the Board, and that the six new individuals joining the Board are:
- Katherine Ann Villegas Reyes – Western Pacific Region
- Karen Mathias – South-east Asian Region
- Vladimir Gordeev – European Region
- Barbara McPake
- Andrés Vecino-Ortiz
- Soonman Kwon
This means that, from October 2018 when the seven elected Board members officially join, the Health Systems Global Board will consist of the following fifteen individuals:
