The George Institute for Global Health, India and The Campbell Collaboration is jointly organising the National Symposium on Evidence Synthesis for Medicine, Public Health & Social Development (NSES 2019), which takes place at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, from 10 – 12 April 2019. It will provide a forum to learn and discuss evidence syntheses across diverse fields of medicine, public health, and social development and reflects the growing interest in India, among researchers, practitioners, and policymakers on using evidence synthesis inform evidence-making decisions. Health Systems Global (HSG) is an academic partner of NSES 2019.

Members of the Evidence to Action, SHAPES and Emerging Voices TWGs of HSG are organising a working group meeting titled Evidence and Equity on 11 April 2019 from 17:00 – 18:00. The meeting will explore diverse facets of equity in evidence, including equity in evidence generation, equity in cost-effectiveness and in primary data collection, including the perspectives of people with lived experience and decolonising evidence.
