Health Systems Research Symposium 2026 (HSR2026) to take place in Cairo, Egypt

Health Systems Global (HSG) is pleased to announce that the 9th Global Symposium on Health Systems Research (HSR2026) will now be taking place in Cairo, Egypt, from 7–9 December 2026 and will be hosted at The American University in Cairo (AUC), New Cairo campus.

This decision follows careful consideration of the changing landscape across the region. The American University in Cairo (AUC) has joined the Symposium partnership as the host institution, and together with the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government (UAE) and the Knowledge to Policy (K2P) Center at the Faculty of Health Sciences, American University of Beirut (AUB), will help shape and deliver HSR2026, reflecting the collaborative partnership at the heart of the Symposium.
