Canada’s International Development Research Centre Sponsors the Fifth Global Symposium
Health Systems Global is pleased to announce that this year’s Fifth Global Symposium on Health Systems Research has received a generous grant from the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) for the organization and management of the Symposium, which will take place in Liverpool, UK, from 8th to 12th October 2018. With this grant, IDRC is a Silver Tier supporter of Health System Global and its Global Symposia organized biennially. Most of the IDRC grant (87%) will be for scholarships to support LMIC researchers to participate in this global event.
With the theme of “Advancing Health Systems for All in the SDG Era”, the Fifth Global Symposium will facilitate conversations and collaborations on new ways of financing health; delivering services; and engaging the health workforce, new social and political alliances, and new applications of technologies to promote health for all.
