Call for Candidates to lead Translating Evidence into Action TWG!
Join a dynamic and growing group (230!) of researchers, policymakers and implementers who are passionate about sharing best practices, lessons learned, and practical guidance and tools to translate health systems research and evidence into action. The Translating Evidence into Action (E2A) TWG seeks 3 passionate and committed members to serve as Chair, Vice-Chair, and Secretary. Health Systems Global requires that TWG leadership be renewed every 2 years. As we (Elaine Baruwa, Heather Cogswell, Chris Atim and Catherine Connor) have been the leadership of the E2A TWG since its establishment in 2014, we welcome other members to take on the roles.
Individuals can nominate themselves or be nominated by others. Just send your CV, brief bio, a photo, and short statement. The application period is open August 30 – September 23, 2016. All submissions are due by midnight ESTSeptember 23, 2016. See HSG election guidelines for more detail.
To be eligible to vote in the leadership election, please send an email to: translatinge2a@gmail.com with the subject line “registering to vote” by October 1, 2016. An individual voting link will be sent to the email address that you used to register to vote. Voting will be open to all TWG members for whom we have email addresses and will take place from October 17-31, 2016.
