Announcing the new HSG Board leadership
Following a vote by the Health Systems Global (HSG) Board we are delighted to confirm the names of HSG’s new Board Officers.
Barbara McPake is named as the new Chair of HSG. Barbara previously served as Vice Chair and will bring significant experience and commitment to the role of HSG Chair, with a strong vision for the organisation’s future.
Adnan Hyder will be the new Vice Chair of HSG, and Tolib Mirzoev will take on the role in the HSG Board Officer team as Treasurer.
HSG Board members and the HSG secretariat would like to express their thanks and appreciation to Asha George and Daniel Maceira for their exemplary leadership and huge dedication and energy as HSG Chair and Treasurer, respectively. We wish Asha the the best of luck in her future endeavours, and as Daniel will remain a member of the HSG Board, the new Board Officers and secretariat look forward to continuing to draw upon on his wisdom and experience.
We will welcome the new HSG Board Officers and Board members and say thanks to our outgoing Board members at the HSG Annual General Meeting, which will take place from 13:00 to 15:00 on 4 December.
