“The Government of Japan has announced its renewed Global Health Strategy in May 2022 to demonstrate continued commitment to the global solidarity to save lives, focusing on strengthening global health architecture for better pandemic prevention, preparedness and response, as well as achievement of equitable, resilient and sustainable UHC. We are especially pleased (amongst the bids) with their commitment to global access, strong visa facilitation, and high-level help to ensure the participation of colleagues from around the world.”

HSG’s biennial global symposia provide a forum to bring together actors involved in health policy and systems research from all around the world to convene, share knowledge, experience and innovative ideas, build capacity in the field, and advocate collectively for stronger health systems.   HSG is committed to equity of attendance from all parts of the world as representation is key to ensuring an effective forum for international debate and exchange on critical global concerns.
