Amplifying HPSR activity in West Africa!
Following HSR2018 in Liverpool, there will be two exciting meetings taking place in Accra, Ghana.
The 3rd ECOWAS Forum on Good Practices in Health is being held from 23-25 October 2018. This meeting will gather senior officials from miniseries of health, regional health experts, researchers and managers of training and research institutions, major local, regional and international NGOs, managers of private companies involved in the health sector, as well as partners within the region and beyond, on the theme of “promoting multi-sectorality to achieve Maternal, Newborn, Child, Adolescent and Youth (MNCAYH) health-related SDGs”.
The African Health Economics and Policy Association (AfHEA) will also host its 5th Scientific Conference from 11-14 March 2019. On the theme of “securing PHC for all: the foundation for making progress on UHC in Africa”, this meeting will bring together experts, analysts, practitioners and researchers from across Africa. Call for abstracts are now open – the deadline is August 31, 2018.
Both meetings offer great opportunity to continue the ongoing dialogues on SDG-era health systems!
