Twitter Live: What have we learnt about health innovation and private-public partnerships in their response to the global pandemic?

In HSG’s third Twitter Live conversation, Priya Balasubramaniam and Desta Lakew, Coordinating Committee Members of the HSG Private Sector in Health Thematic Working Group, shared their experiences on how public-private and other forms of health partnerships have responded to and emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Priya and Desta talked about some of the new kinds of collaborations that have evolved and how these are impacting health system resilience. How is this pandemic changing the way we access and provide health services and build health systems capacity in mixed health systems? They reflected on lessons from previous infectious disease outbreaks and in response to COVID-19, and what these experiences tell us about how these partnerships can develop and thrive.
