Mapping and building consensus for HPSR competencies: preliminary research findings and emerging challenges and opportunities

This webinar is part of an initiative, led by a team within the Teaching and Learning TWG in collaboration with Collaboration for Health Policy & Systems Analysis in Africa (CHEPSAA), aiming to capture a range of core health policy and systems research (HPSR) competencies and build consensus around this set among leaders in the field of HPSR.

The existence of a set of competencies for the field will provide a reference point and be used for benchmarking and supporting high-quality resources. It is our hope that we can strengthen available training and engagement around health policy and systems research globally, and promote wider access to courses and materials.

During this webinar, we will be sharing preliminary findings and lingering complexities and challenges identified during a set of key informant interviews that are being conducted by the study team. We will facilitate and welcome broader input, questions, and dialogue within the HSG community.
