HSG is a global society committed to advancing research on health policy and systems. We strive to enhance and build robust health systems that foster improved health and well-being for all.
By strengthening health policy, systems research and practice communities, we will support health systems across the globe to achieve better health, equity and wellbeing for all.
To connect and engage researchers, policymakers, health care managers, educators, civil society, the media, and donors from around the world. We will support these connections to advance the field of health systems research, by creating opportunities for these individuals to come together to create, share, and apply knowledge. Ultimately building stronger health systems.
Our Strategic Plan (2022-2026) at Health Systems Global reflects our society’s mission and values, aiming to establish HSG as a leader in health policy and systems research (HPSR) amid the dynamic global health landscape.
Developed through an inclusive and participatory process involving extensive engagement with HSG members, partners, and stakeholders, the plan prioritizes several key areas. These include promoting HPSR through interdisciplinary collaborations, facilitating the production and dissemination of research, advocating for HPSR’s importance in health system strengthening, enhancing capacity building efforts, and ensuring robust governance and sustainable funding.
